Hatfield and Roberts Connection

I am trying to find information on Rebecca Hatfield who was born in 1815 in Kentucky.I have her spouse's name as John Roberts but there seems to be some conflict on exactly where he was born,Tenn. or Kentucky.His birth year is 1806 and according to several censuses they lived in Tennessee and died there in Jackson County as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
