Louise Havemann
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Louise W. K. Havemann, 92, Muscatine, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Unity Hospital.
The Rev. Paul Ostrem will officiate. Casket bearers are Gregg Havemann, Scott Havemann, Matthew Havemann, Steven Suhl, Brian Suhl, Kyle Jacobson, William Jacobson and Andrew Jacobson. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. After the burial, a funeral luncheon will be held at the church.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Lutheran Homes or donor's choice of charity.
Miss Havemann was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Muscatine, the daughter of F. Henry and K. Marie Kruse Havemann.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
She worked as a staff member for the P.M. Musser Public Library for 15 years and then became an executive secretary for Grain Processing Corp., retiring in 1977 after 34 years of employment.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Tom Havemann and wife Judy of Peoria, Carol Havemann Lynch and husband Joseph of Houston, Texas, Mary Havemann Jacobson and husband Allen of Minneapolis, Minn., Mary Ann Havemann of Pinole, Calif., and Don Suhl and wife Bev of Muscatine; 12 great-nieces and -nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Havemann and wife Bertha; a sister, Anna Havemann; a nephew, Ron Havemann; and a niece, Janice Suhl.
