william hawkey & captain cook

William Hawkey was masters mate on HMS Adventure on Captain James Cook's second pacific voyage. I am compiling a Captain
Cook Encyclopaedia and would like to include information about the men who sailed with him. Can anyone please help
with biographical details, etc about this Hawkey? Many thanks / John Robson
