Have just joined this forum, so sorry about the long delayed response.
I too am descended from William Henry HAWKEY and Mary MEAD. Of their thirteen children, I am descended from their eleventh child, Elizabeth Frances Hawkey (my grandmother).

Hope we can exchange some information on our family trees.
