I know you posted your message a long time ago, but I have the information you were seeking about Lewis Franklin Hawkins.He is the brother to my 2nd great-grandmother.
Father- Benjamin Hawkins b. South Carolina 1793.
Mother- Elizabeth Patterson b. Tennessee 1822.
