Found: Two Photos (1890 & 1891) Taken in Berlin, Wisconsin (HAWLEY, BISHOP)
The two photos of Hazel Hawley were purchased at the St. Charles Antique mall and have the following information:
(1: August 1890) Front: Walcott Berlin Wis. Back: Hazel Hawley 8 months old.
(2: November 1891) Front: Walcott Berlin Wis. Back: Hazel Hawley 22 months old.
The photographs are of Hazel Hawley [21 Jan 1890], daughter of Charles D. and Anna Isabella (Hinds) Hawley.
Hazel traveled internationally, as she is listed on the ship register of the Francenia which arrived into Boston on 15 Aug 1914 from Liverpool England. Hazel was traveling with her younger brother Lawrence Hawley. They listed their current residence as 915 Adams Street in Berlin, Green Lake, Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Alumni Magazine Volume 17 Number 4 (Feb. 1916) has an entry announcing that Hazel Hawley of Berlin married Warren J. Bishop (class of 1903) and the couple made their home at 1117 Maryland Avenue, Milwaukee.
In the 1920, 1930, and 1940 census, Hazel (Hawley) and Warren Bishop lived in Milwaukee with their son Richard, who was born about 1917. They lived at 2401 East Lake Bluff Blvd.
If there are any relatives who would like the photo, all I ask is reimbursement for paying for the photo, shipping, and a 25% finder’s fee (so I can purchase more photos to reunite with their families). That would be $11.98 for both photos (they had to be purchased separately and thus costed more for me to purchase). Please contact me at branchesfamilyhistory(at)gmail(dot)com if you’re interested.
