My grandfather was George Stephen Hayhoe (born in 1896 in South Stoneham, Hamshire, son of Thomas Gregory Hayhoe born in 1868 in Wayland, Norfolk). George Stephen Hayhoe had two younger brothers; Charles died aged two; Robert Henry Hayhoe was born in 1900 in South Stoneham. I know nothing more of him. My father, born in 1928, had no contact with any of his father's family.
