Martin,
I cannot locate a Raymond Wabon Hayhow, do you know if your grandfather used another name? and was Raymond his birth name?
The name Wabon has been passed down through the generations. James Hayhow born 1797 in Wells Next the Sea, Norfolk married Amy Wabon 1819. Amy was born 1790,Wells Next the Sea also. They had 8 children, and one of their daughters Amy Elizabeth Hayhow married Raynard Lockyer which appears to be where the Raynard name fits and this name has also been passed down. I am eager to find where your grandfather fits in, please feel free to email me
Regards
Lin
