Hi, I'm looking for any info on my great-great grandfather, John S. Hazelgrove. He was born in 1821. My now deceased grandfather thought the birthplace was New York, possibly Brooklin. John died at sea 15 July 1882.
I always get "no records found" in typical genealogy searches. Does anybody have his place of birth or date and place of his marriage to Susannah S. Ware (b. __ ____, 1824, d. 5 Oct 1901). Their daughter Mary Alice Hazelgrove was born 10 Sep 1865 in James City Co., VA.
