I know that this posting is old and thus not sure you are still researching Hazen Reg.I am looking for any information on two members of the Regiment:
Sgt Francis or Francois Labbe' (or Labbee) and Pvt. Joseph Labbe' (or Labbee). Both also went under the name of Noise or Noiset dit Labbe'. The information that was given me concerning Sgt Francis/Francois Labbe is that he was discharged on June 22, 1783. On Joseph all that was given to me from a cousin is the following:
"Joseph cont. Canadian Mary Ursule W20387, see claim of Joseph Labbee, 546534." This is probably reference to a pension claim?? Also "Joseph Labbe Hazen Regiment BLWT 13360-100 Pvt issued 10-12-1790. No papers." My cousin did not say where she found this information only that she had it in some notes.
I have been researching the Labbe' and Noiset dit Labbe' families and would like to find out if these two mention are related.
Any information on these two would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Frances
