Cahow/Cohow family marrying into Heathman family

Acc. to Connie Blake, a descendant of John Cahow of Ohio. John Cahow died in Medina Co., Ohio. His wife Elizabeth, died about 1840.Their only daughter, Chloe, married Bennet Heathman, and according to his Will (John) Chloe had a brother, Westley Cahow who was born in 1806 in Ohio. His wife's name was Mary ??.They had at least two children, James and Almira.Almira died in 1863. Westley died in 1864 in Henry Co., Illinois.
We Know that a Maryline Heathman married Westley Cahow on May 21, 1837 in Portage Co., Ohio.Parents unknown. The 1820 Cen. show a John Cahow in Norton Twp., Medina Co., Ohio, age 45 & up. Only a Betsey Cahow is listed in Norton Twp. in 1830, age bet. 60 & 70.John & Elizabeth Cahow are most likey the parents of Benjamin Franklin Cahow that lived in Berrien Co., Mich. and was in the 12thMich. Infantry in the Civil War.He was listed as age 33 in 1864 when he inlisted from Lake Twp., in Berrien Co.,. Which is where My Leven Heathman also lived. He married Sarah Mellissa Spangenburg in 1856, in Berrien Co., Mich. and died in the Union Army on Nov. 27 1864 of Yellow Fever in Bevalls Bluff, AR.It is believed he is the father of Randolph, Clara, who died in Sioux City, Iowa and Franklin (Frank) Grant Cahow.Randolph Cahow died in Kilkenny, Minnesots and some of his children are said to have married in N. D.This family follows the Heathman trail guite well.
Now did Bennet Heathman married TWO woman with the same first Name, one in Maryland and one in Ohio?Your quess would be as good as mine. But it would appear so. The real question now is, did they have children. All the children I have were b. after 1807 making there mother, Chloe Walker. We know Bennet Heathman married Chloe Walker May 29, 1807 in Burton. Marriage was preform by Joseph Clark, J. P. in Geauga Co., Ohio
In the Book History of Geauge Co., Ohio the name Cahow is offen found spell CAHOE. With Bazil Cahoe, (said to be a brother of John) Who came to Geauge Co., abt. 1800.Also said the Heathman and the Cahoe family, moved to Medina County, after a residence in Middlefield of ten or fifteen years. James Heathman remained in Middlefield."
Again more question than answers.
