Mark Hedtke - we are descended from same ancestors.Your G-grandpa, Fred, was a brother to my G-grandpa, Michael HEDTKE, both of whom settled in central Wisconsin.I am working to discover the villages in former Provinz Posen where they originated.Possible leads of Sepere and Pilsen may be Szczepanowo (formerly Schepanowo) and Plechin, since both are near to Bielawy, another possible town.The area of these villages is north of Mogilno, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland, which I was just able to locate on a map yesterday (11 July 2009).Anyone, please contact me if you have any information that will help confirm these villages for our HEDTKE ancestors.
