Heed that married Glover

I am trying to locate a Heed that married a Glover.It is said that this Glover came over from Ireland and then married a Heed in the States.This would have been around the midto early 1800's.This Glover would have been my great-great grandfather, and we don't know anything else about him, including his first name.
