Thank you for the information. Unfortunetly I have I cannot track back farther than about 1860. I am from the States. There are rumors that two Heed brothers were fighting in the Scottish War back in the 1600's.One brother left the war and sailed to the United States and landed in Virginia. The other brother met him there 2 years later. I think one of the brother's name was Robert. This is a story that my dad has told me. I'm not sure how true it is. Supposively there is a small town in England called Heede with an 'e' and that is where they came from.

I am beginning my search again. I hope to crack the case this time. Thanks for writing to me!
