If anyone's interested, I'll post what I find Helferich-wise on this query board. As I mentioned earlier, this material has NOT already been extracted, IGI or otherwise. I've only noticed in passing the Helferich entries intermingled with those families that I'm concentrating on.

I suspect, though, that this family can be found up and down the length of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
