Obit - KING, M. Cecile (nee Hello)

KING, M. Cecile (nee Hello) 27 February, 1926- 27 December, 2008 Cecile (known to her friends as Cec) passed away suddenly on Saturday 27 December. Cec leaves a loving family; a devoted husband Charles, sons John & Joan Over, Jim & Noreen King, daughter Joanne King & Brian Hollands, sister Juliette Tardif of Windsor, ON. and brothers Joe Hello and Alice of Summerside, P.E.I. and John & Terry Hello of Windsor, ON. She will be missed by grandchildren Jennifer Mackintosh of Aurora, Emily Hope of Kamloops, B.C. Thomas King, Jessica King, and Jarret Hollands, as well as by two great-grandchildren Allan James and Taylor-Ann Mackintosh. She was pre-deceased by sister Helen Collinge of Pasadena, CA and brother Alfred Hello of Windsor, ON. She will be remembered by many colleagues in the medical and nursing professions for her contributions to nursing on the staff of the numerous medical facilities of which she was a part, principally St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Belleville General in Belleville Ontario, 4 (Fighter) Wing Schools in Baden-Soellingen, Germany and the National Defence Medical Centre in Ottawa, where she ended her nursing career in 1998, caring for Armed Forces patients and veterans. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. Maurice's Church (Meadowlands at Perry).
