Hi Gary, I am related to the Hemmerling family and there are a few of us from the Nebraska Hemmerling who are researching the family.
My grandfather Ray Hemmerling married Adella Rodocker from around the Purdham, or Halsey Nebraska area and eventually settled in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan Canada.
There are a multitude of Hemmerling up here in Western Canada who descend from Ray Hemmerling. I don't have any more info on the family at this point but I will very soon. I will keep in touch.
