Dear Sister. After having drawn off this record according to reuest, I will fill out this sheet with a kind of a letter. I reached sister E's on tuesday evening ... it was early ... on monday evening when I got to Cuthbert and I thought it best to go as far beyond as possible. [no signature]

A letter dated 1937 in the collection indicates that the two younder sons, William D. and Joshua M. both went to Californa. Zechariah was a Baptist minister. A son of Elizabeth Henderson Hollis, William T. Hollis, was a judge in Arkansas.
