Oliver, land in Rowan/Davie Co., NC; 1801
This is from the records of Mrs. McCubbin, who was a genealogist in North Carolina.I saw them on microfilm in the LDS Library in Statesville or Salisbury, years ago.
"May 5 1801: Administration on the estate of deceased Oliver Hendren, as the widow relinquished, is granted to Vachel Ijams, who gave bond of 500 pounds with John Sane & Basil Gaithar, Jr."
Division of Estates, Vol. A, page 238: The estate of deceased Oliver Hendren was divided & returned to Feb. court of 1821, as follows:Lot #1 of 52 acres & 36 rods next lot #1 & up the branch to the fording place goes to Margaret Hendren, & Lot #3 of 52 acres next said Olier Hendren, & George Sain, deceasd Spenceer Glascock & on up the branch, goes to Sarah, the wife of Peter Parker."
"Book A page 47, Dec. 9, 1809. the estate of deceased Oliver Hendren was divided among Peter Parker, Beal Hendren & Peggy Hendren by R. Powell,JOhn R. Froeling, Hugh Cassson, Samuel Austin & H.B. Pruit, who sat at the house of Basil Gaither in Mocks Old Field."
