Polk Hendrix other than his parents, siblings, grandparents, and further back.Actually, he is not in my direct line, but would be the gr.grandson of my 5th g.grandparents, James Hendrix and Frances Lee.

Polk were William B. Hendrix b.1822 AL and Missouri Ann Kirkland b.1821 (unknown place of birth).Their other known children were Joseph b.1844 and Isaac b.1849.I am assuming that these children were all born in AL (possibly Florence, Lauderdale Co because many of my Hendrix were from that area).I have no information forward on James K. Polk, Joseph, or Isaac.

Polk Hendrix descendents is part of our research team and I have an e-mail address for him.He is in the service, and has been out of the country for some time, but I believe he still receives his e-mail.
