What I have are two Will Abstracts, Moses Will is from Jackson County, GA Will Abstracts, Will Book B 1860-1888, B-81 Will dated Feb. 4 1866, probated Nov. 2 1868, recorded Nov. 5 1868, pp 152-153 Moses Hendrix..."being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength so to do.......I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Jane Hendrix, Five Dollars, as her part of my real and personal estate. I desire that She has no Dower, in my estate; she having quit my bed & bo(a)rd without provacation."

I desire the balance of my estate to be divided equally between my children as follows; Dorcas Hendrix, Nancy Hendrix, Andrew Hendrix, Martha Bowls, Artemissa Bayly, Mary Reynols, Frances Bayly, Miles Hendrix, Harriet Yeargans, Octava Carson, Narcissa Carson, Amanda Carson, with the following exceptions, I desire that Dorcas Hendrix & Nancy Hendrix have all the land west of the Grove River..."

The second Will that supports this is from the History of Banks Co., GA by Mize
Pg. 500- Dated 20 July 1875-Francis Ballew to "wife Nancy" land whereon I now live (350A.) and one lot in Town of Homer, for lifetime, then to be sold and proceeds divided 1/2 to the children of my daughter, Jane Anderson, share and share alike, and 1/2 to my wife's brothers and sisters, to wit, Miles Hendrix, Andrew Hendrix, Dorcas Hendrix, Harriet Yeargan, Artemissa Bailey, Narcissa Arial, Mary Reynolds, Amanda Carson, Octavia Baugh, and Frances Bailey.

Narcissa was married to Robert H. Carson in Moses Will m. 16 Sep 1858 in Franklin Co., GA and married to John Milton Ariail in Francis Ballew's Will.

Francis Ballew is my GGGGfather and through a cousin who found Francis' Military Records and Nancy's application for his pension it states that he was married before Nancy Hendrix to a Nancy Wilson which is causing some heavy research.
