My husband, from Winchester, VA was told
by his grandfather, John Henkel Henry that
the Patrick Henry family was part of his
family.John Henkel Henry's father was George Robert Henry who married a Huff of
Frederick, Co.(surrounds Winchester, the
county seat) George Robert Henry, born in
Winchester,1838-1907. His father was Alfred
Henry 1797-1856 married Caroline Lambden of
Va, buried in Mt. Hebron, Winchester ,Va, his father Nelson Henry, born
1760 in Virginia. Where? Married to?
Printers and newspaper owner in family. Henry's related to the Lee's and Ashby's of
Virginia.Huffs related to the Montagues of
Virginia.
Anything here ring a bell?Would love to have anything on Nelson Henry and any connection to Patrick Henry as oral history
says back somewhere was a relative of the
