I have a Francois Heraut b.1768 that married Jeanne Joffrion b 29 Dec 1772 both seem to have been born in Point Coupe Parish, La. Married about1802. I am unsure of the spelling is it Herault or Heraut. They are my 5th great grandparents daughter Marie Heraut married Aaron Ryan and his son Aaron Ryan married Mary Hester Duff whose daughter Mary Hester Ryan married Alexander Ernest Etier who was my great grandfather.
