Heron - Foley - Clancy in Ann Arbor MI
I am looking for the descendants of JohnH. Heron and Mary E. Foley. They were married in 1880 in Ann Arbor MI.(Mary's parents are Joseph F. Foley and Bridget Clancy of Ann Arbor MI.)
Their son, John F. Heron died in Utah in 1914, age 29.He was born in 1884 in Leadsville, Colorado.I have his daughter Marguerite F. Heron on the 1920 Census living with her grandparents (the above listed John and Mary Heron) in Denver CO.She was age 7 at the time.
So, between the 1910 Census when John F. was single at age 23 living with his other grandmother Bridget Foley in Ann Arbor MI; and the 1920 Census, he was married and died in Utah (where his daughter was born).I have discovered his wife, Marguerite N. was remarried to Otto T. Sardenbecker and lived in Cook Co IL on the 1920 Census.
Actually, I would love to find Marguerite F. Heron, the daughter. She is listed in Illinois on the 1930 Census with her mother, Marguerite and Otto Sardenbecker as Otto's step-daughter, age 17.
I am hoping to find out more information on the Foley's and Clancy's of Ann Arbor MI.This is my grandmother's family on my father's side. My grandmother's name is Dorothy Elizabeth Moore, born in Ann Arbor MI 11-05-1898.Her mother's name is Clara Josephine Foley(daughter of Joseph F. Foley and Bridget Clancy, both buried in St. Thomas Cemetary, Ann Arbor MI).
