Heslep was married to Delila _____ and had a son James Ervin Heslep (1826-1898) born in Georgia who eventually settled in Callahan County, Texas.James Ervin Heslep married Nancy Brooks in 1846 in Paulding County, Georgia.I don't know anything about David's ancestry, though.Do you happen to know Delila's maiden name?

I am not related to this family except that Nancy Brooks Heslep was a sister to my great-grandfather, John L. Brooks.
