I saw Pat gave you the information on Stephen Hesse.
Stephen was a stonemason.He did carvings on the Old City
Hall, now Wichita Historical Museum in wichita, Kansas.
He also did a monument for a child in Maple Grove Cemetary
in Wichita.This information cn be found in a book,
BEAUTIFYING WICHITA THROUGH SCULPTURE, Project Beauty Inc,
Wichita, Kansas, Revised and enlarged 1995. Copyright 1980
Revised 1989.I think this book is hard to locate?There
is a page on Stephen's work in it.I have a copy of the
page and can copy it and send it to you, US Mail, if you
are interested.If you are in Wichita, you can go see
the work and probably find a copy of the book in the library.
