Re: Emory Hethcox married Lillian (?)

Jim, do you know anything about James M. Hethcox.He was born 29 Jan 1839 in Georgia and died 29 Apr 1916 in Elmore Co., Alabama.

He wrote an affidavit for my 2nd great grandfather, James Pinkney Kimbrough, when he applied for his application for his Civil War Pension.James had served with him in the 34th Alabama Infantry.Another affidavit was from L. M. Lackey.He was a cousin of my 2nd ggfather.I'm trying to see if there was any relationship between the Hethcox and the Kimbrough's, as both families came from Georgia.My 2nd ggfather was born in Troup Co., Georgia in Feb 1839 and was the same age as James Hethcox.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
