Tabusintac is in the mouth of the Miramichi River, in Northumberland Co., on the north side. It's a small village near Burnt Church, and south of Tracadie. It may be unusual as there was a great deal of back and forth with PEI, especially the Loyalist families of the Dunk River area near Summerside. Tabusintac also has genealogical connections to Plaster Rock in Victoria Co., stemming from participation in the logging industry.
