My GGgrandmother was Emma Higginson born 27 Oct 1833 in Tunstall to Absolom Higginson and his wife Mary (nee Hancock)who were married 1 Oct 1832 at Wolstanton. Absolom was born 11 May 1800 and died 1840. His parents were Samuel Higginson (bpt 27 Jan 1771 at Audley) and Diana (sometimes Dinah) (nee Simm bpt 4 August 1771 also at Audley)who were married 21 Jul 1793 at Wolstanton. Samuel's parents were Daniel Higginson and Ann. There were quite a few siblings around as well.
