HIGHHOUSE, WILLIAM 1829 - 1902

My GG Grandfather was William Highhouse, born 1829 in Saxe, Gotha, Saxony, Germany.His parents were: Dietrich Highhouse & Margaret Weaver both born in Saxony, Germany.They had another son Ernst and a daughter Charlotte. There was probably other children but these three are the only ones I know of. William and Ernst came to this America on April 11, 1848.They first settled in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.About 1870 they came to Warren, Pennsylvania & started a brickyard with his brother Ernst plus farmed.

William married Louisa Snyder, they had 13 children.My Great Grandmother was named Louisa Christina Marie Highhouse born, 1868 in Honesdale, Wayne Co., PA.Here are the names William and Louise Highhouse's other children:
Lena, Caroline, Ernest, William Jr., Katherine "Kate" M., John Martin, Barbara Freidrika Whilhelmina, Frederick J.,Edward "Moses" William, Charlotta "Lottie", Charles Edward.
