Thomas Hilburn

Searching for information on Thomas Hilburn.His daughter Malinda was my great grandmother.I have her death certificate which lists her birth as circa 1860 in Mississippi and that her mother was Elizabeth Winter(s) born in Alabama and that Thomas Hilburn was her dad but no birth location was listed for him.

I have a picture of Malinda and her mother and it is evident that they both are of Native American descent.However, I have no other information on Thomas or Elizabeth other than according to one of my uncles, Thomas died while Elizabeth was pregnant with Malinda and that Elizabeth married a man by the surname of Barber at some point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
