Tomey Hilburn married to Carrie Fergurson

Greetings,

I am trying to find my mothers family. My Grandmother, Hattie Hilburn is the person I am trying to chase down. Hattie's father is Tomey Hilburn. Hattie had some siblings Dixie Hilburn, don't know if she married and Otho John or James Hilburn. He lived in TNN, either Nashville or Memphis. I think mom's uncle went by OJ and was a football coach. My mom is 85 and can't remember to well who is who and the spelling of the names.

I have been able to get it out of her that there is Native American in the line somewhere but in her days I guess there was a sigma applied to a person if anyone found out about that lineage.

My Great-Grandfather is George Washington Crittended on my fathers side and I have been able to trace it back a ways. My email is [email protected] if someone can help me.
