Re: HILDENBRAND/ NEW YORK CITY

My great-grandfather was Joseph Hildenbrand from Alsace et Lorraine area in France.Joseph had 12 children, of which my grandmother is the 8th child, in the Louisville, KY area.The only Hildenbrands I know are the 12 children and their descendants.Joseph's father's house/farm is still in use in Haguenau, France (just north of Strasbourg, France).I will be traveling to France/Germany in May for a family reunion of my great-grandmother Josephine (BADINA) Hildenbrand.The Badina family is also from Haguenau region, and the 2-day reunion will be in Haguenau. In preparation for my visit, my Badina french cousins have contacted a Mr. Hildenbrand who knows the family history.Mr. Hildenbrand has agreed to meet with me in May to discuss family history. I am hopeful about the new information we will exchange.I would be happy to forward it to you also, if you are interested.
