As I said in my original posting, my grandmother, Mary Hildenbrand was the 8th child of 12 children.Both of her parents came to America about 1870 from France through New York.One of her sisters was named Louise Hildendbrand before she married and became Gerlach.The Gerlach's lived in the Chicago area (northern Indiana).Louise died when I was a small child, but her grandchildren still live in northern Indiana. It's possible she is the Louise Hildenbrand you speak of, but we will have to converse further in order to determine that. I look forward to your reply posting.Happy New Year!
