John and Mary Hildreth NY>MN>SD 1860-1900

I'm looking for information on a this couple. I believe I have found them in the 1860 census in Pompey, Onondaga County, NY. The household is listed as: John (33), June M. (30), Mary E. (6), and Caroline (3). I next find them in the 1870 census in Waseca County, Minnesota and the household includes: John (42), Mary J. (40), Carrie E. (13), and Anna A. (3). Anna is shown as born in Minnesota so the family would have been there by 1866-67. Later they are in Silver Lake Township, Martin County, Minnesota in the 1875 Minnesota State census and have added a daughter, Minnie (4). In 1877 Carrie marries Oliver Reynolds in Blue Earth County, MN. The last I find of them (I think) is that there is a John and Mary Hildreth who are age appropriate in the Ash Grove Cemetery in Lake County, South Dakota.
Does anyone have any connection to or knowledge of this family? I believe Carrie (Hildreth) Reynolds is my wife's gr-gr-grandmother.
