Re: Joel Hilliard

The information I have on Joel Hilliard is he married a Mary Ann (nicknamed "Polly"). I do have info on his children from a member of his family that read his will. His children were:
Alexander who married Martha
John G who married Mary
Nancy who married John Tharp (my 3rd great grandfather)
Margaret who married John Looney.
Also someone wrote me and said his father was a "William Hilliard"
I have found info on most of Joel's children and their families.
I had info from someone on the internet that states Joel married Mary Ann Anderson and I did find some info to support this.
Joel most likely died before between 1930 and 1940 because I found him in the Marion Co., 1930 census of TN but his wife was head of house in the 1940 census. Ruth R
