Epps Hilliard of Chatham Co, NC

I am looking for information about an Epps Hiliard of Chatham Co, NC who married Sallie Lewis.They had at least one daughter:Sarah Elizabeth (Eliza) Hilliard.She married Thomas James Tuckness b. ca 1819 in Maury Co, TN.

Epps may have served in the Revolutionary War, but I can find no record.

There was also a John Hilliard b. ca 1807 whose sons (McKinney W. and Alvis Thomas Hilliard) married daughters of Thomas J. Tuckness in Maury Co, TN.
