Winthrop and Joseph of 1780's NC

Has anyone researched the Winthrop Hilton family of Halifax County, NC enumerated there in 1783 or Joseph Hilton enumerated in Warren County, NC 1784.I have an idea they are from the Maine cousins. Please let me know if you have any clues...
