Let talk,... I have a Samuel Hilton,b.1765in Lancaster Co.Dist,SC.- d. abt.1826 Piercetown, SC.Married Edith Brewer in Piercetown, SC. daughter of Lewis Brewer and Agatha Holland.
His Father was Richard Hilton, b.1720 in Pennsylvania - d.1789 in Lancaster Co. District, SC. No wife was listed, he had around 16 children, I only know of 8.I have a few interesting facts about Richard if you are interested relating to why he moved from Pennsylvania to S.C. I also have a picture of the Seal from the Royal Land Grant.

10)Matilda Hilton, b. 1810 married Glass Caston.

Richard Burrell Hilton married Elizabeth Maxwell (1st wife) b. 1791. d. 1888.
They had 7 children listed:

3) Elizabeth Hilton, b.?
4) Richard B. Hilton,Jr. b.?
5) Andrew J. Hilton, b. 1832 - d.1905 married Mary E. Massey.
6) Dennie Hilton, b. 1836 married John Threat.
7) Lee Hilton, b. 1838 married Roma Hilton.

This is your family line so tell be if some of my information is wrong? I didn't have a Leroy R. Hilton listed but I had a Lee Hilton is this the same?I not sure my source on some of this information but most of it come from Jones Book, Page 283 - 288.
