Jeanne, I have just started this side of the family my grandmother Pauline batchelder Hayden passed away a year ago oct at 93 she was the daughter of olive hilton and frank Batchelder I have had trouble with this line for a couple reasons Carrie Belle Trumbul who married edger hilton ebens son they had nine children olive, Delos,Ralph,
jannet, eben, fylinda, roy, percivel, and edna who died at seventeen.Carrie belle married a second time to John Batchelder who was a widow with 5 boys frank, john, colby, harry, charles, jannet hilton married colby batchelder and had a son donnie, Olive (my g grandmother) married frank batchelder, they had nellie irma herbert paulien and carrie belle, they all lived in bridgton until my grand mother paulien and my mother gertrude moved to conway in 1950 where we have been ever since. in the 1880 census of denmark there is no wife listed for eben age 59 farmer son edger age 26 and daugter in law carrie b age 18 in the 1870 census adaline f 51 wife wf keeping house is listed with eben as are sophronia 21 edger 16 and janett o 14 thats all I have right now I will keep you posted
