our line, originally started out Hilton, in Burke & Rowan County North Carolina, found on early 1800 census records. But, with census takers, & misspellings, the surname bounces between Hilton & Helton, & now, have even found a connecting line spelled Hylton.All matched through DNA. If I run across anything, on Wade's crew, I'll forward it to you. I have been interested in his line, for years, due to the names of his sons Ransom & Zadock. Thank You SO much for replying! It is truly appreciated.
