It's only been 3 1/2 yrs since you posted that message. Since then I have moved and changed my email.

No, I have never heard of anything that you wrote about. After my Smith grandparents moved here to NC from MS nobody really talked about stuff to us 'young ones'. But my 2nd great grandmother Mary Jane Hilton's (who married Lenard Smith) father was John James Hilton but he died in 1891.

My grandmother Maybelle (nee Jones) Smith told me that my 2nd grandparents were buried there. Someone took a picture of the headstone for me but the dates were off by so much that there was no way they could have been married. I had written the church to ask about membership there but got no reply, that was probably 3-2 yrs. ago. But I would like for you to tell me about it 'the minutes'. If you are close to there might I ask you for something? But I'll wait to see what's in 'the minutes'.
