I have been researching Francis Whited of Maryland who is first listed around the late 1690s.I have a Barbados CD which shows Elizabeth Hilton marrying a Francis W.....? on Feb 27, 1686.I believe that Francis Whited and his brother, William, both came to Maryland from Barbados in the late 1690s. In 1772, a William Bond Whited/Whitehead, moved from Maryland to North Carolina.
