Re: Alva Dell Hymes Wisconsin-Alford Hymes Vermont

I'm not sure if I have a connection to this or not. In my lineage, I have an Alva Hyames (I've found many varients of the spelling) who was born in 1793, in NY, and died in 1880, in Wisconsin. He moved to Wisconsin sometime before 1850 with his 2nd wife and lived in Walworth county until his death. He and his 2nd wife had 4 children between 1850 and 1861. I've came across research in the past that says my Alva had relative in Vermont and or Rhode Island, but I haven't been able to connect backwords with any certitude.
