William HINKLEY b. (possibly Chautauqua Co.) NY; m. Rachael or Rachel (?) also b. NY. William is buried Huntington Co. Indiana, d. 10-10-1846 at 52y, 1m, 22d.
William is in the NY Chautauqua 1830 Census with ages matching children:
Henry P. HINKLEY b. about 1822, NY.
Hannah HINKLEY b. 1826, NY, m. Jonas GRIFFITH, 1847, in Wells Co. IN. They move to Coffee Co., KS.
Emaline HINKLEY b. abt. 1833, NY, m. Charles RICE in Wells Co., IN.
Francis B. HINKLEY b. abt 1839 in OH.
William Harrison HINKLEY b. abt 1841 in OH.
I believe there is also a son John.

William HINKLEY recorded land in 1840 in Jackson Township, Wells County, Indiana on the same day as the GRIFFITHS.
