Mrs. Lydia Eicholtz
ZELIENOPLE- Mrs. Lydia Eicholtz, 87, of Portersville RD 2, in Perry Township, died yesterday in the Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio after a brief illness.
She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on Oct. 31, 1883 to the late George and Margaret Hinckley Schwiensburg.She married Fredrick Eicholtz on Nov. 17, 1970 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1967.
Mrs. Eicholtz was a member of the Wesleyan Church of New Castle.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Smith and Mrs. Eva Smith, both of Steubenville and Charles(Laura) Kennedy of Ellwood City; five sons, Clarence and Emery of Steubenville, Clyde of Ellwood City, Raymond of New Castle and Howard of Portersville; 21 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Maude Wimer and Miss Rene Schwienburg, and a brother, Henry Schwiensburg.
Friends will be recived at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home in Zelienople from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
The service will be at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Loran W. Veith, former pastor of Grace Reformed Church of Harmony, Pa.
Interment will be in St. Peter's Reformed Church Cemetery in Middle Lancaster Twp., Pa.
