Her husband had a large tract of land in NJ.When he died in Philadelphia in the autumn of 1775, having made his will on 11 March 1775, he had to leave there for England & wasgranted a pension of 40 pounds a year.Claim for 28,000 acres.Certificate of marriage by license at St. Andrew’s, Holborn, London, 16 October 1770, of JohnHIND of St. Dunstan in the West, bachelor & Mary Hobart of St. Andrew Holborn, spinster.Certificate that John HIND& his child died in Philadelphia & were buried in the churchyard of St Peter’s Church there in April 1775.Deposition sworn Hull, Yorkshire, 1783 by Richard Ware, late of Whitby, but now of Hull, Yorkshire, that he went to Philadelphia in 1774 & was there until October 1775; he well knew John HIND,formerly ofLondon, gent., & Mary his wife.
