I don't know if any of our Hind line stayed in England, but it is quite possible.
Matthew and Drusilla and (we believe) most of their children migrated to Canada in 1849.
Their daughter Augusta, who had married John Smith, migrated to Australia in 1853.On the shipping list it had her point of origin as "Notts" which is not where she was born, nor had she been living there as far as we know.However, John came out before she did so it is possible that she could have stayed in Nottinghamshire between John leaving and herself coming.If she had family there it becomes more feasible.
The Hind family were Baptists and there are a few unusual and biblical names for the children, so again, Enoch sounds feasible.I just don't know anything that could connect them.
I can't find any information on our Hinds in Beeford before Matthew and Drusilla married.(Can't remember if there were Hinds on the IGI in those areas either)
