Hinderer or Hinder

My GGFather was Edward Frederick Hinderer and lived in Balt.,MD in 1880 where my GrandFather John Frederick Hinderer was born. The family moved to York, PA.My father was John Carl Hinderer.

Since the spelling of all the names change so muchI thought there might be a connection
