Louise (Oberle) Hinderman - Alsace-Lorraine / Oregon / Washington
I have a HINDERMAN connection in my OBERLE family tree in Oregon -- I'd love to hear from anyone who is connected to my Louise (OBERLE) HINDERMAN of Alsace/Oregon/Washington:
My great grandfather was Emil J Oberle, and he had a sister who married a Hinderman.Louise Hinderman (Marie Louise Oberle, b.Feb 10 1877, d.Aug 8, 1950) married about 1912/1913. I found her family listed on 1920 census (Kitsap Co, WA, ED=64, sheet 4a) and 1930 census (Mason Co, WA, ED=28, SHEET=5A).I also found some of her children listed on Washington State Birth Index on Ancestry.com.
Louise Hinderman is buried in Vancouver, WA at St James Acres Catholic Cemetery -- I have her death certificate which states she was divorced and had lived in Vancouver area for 19 years when she died. Her father is listed as John Oberle, her mother as Rosalie (with no last name).
I have found her husband was variously listed as H.B., Hilbert B, and Hilbert R Hinderman/Henderman. The census showed him to be born in Minnesota, and his father was born in Alsace-Lorraine/French/German, and his mother born in Canada/Scotch.
These are the children I found for Louise Hinderman:
Jennie L Hinderman - (b. circa 1909 - age 11 in Jan 1920 census - was she adopted or foster daughter ?? just guessing.)
William John Hinderman - (b. Feb 16, 1914 Kitsap Co, WA)
Clarence Jacob Hinderman - (b. Mar 4, 1915, Kitsap Co, WA)
Milton Emil Hinderman - (b. Apr 27, 1916, Kitsap Co, WA)
Marian Rose Hinderman - (b. Mar 31, 1918, Kitsap Co, WA)
